About the AuthorGenealogy and photography are among Jean Douillette's many interests. In 1999 she began recording the inscriptions and photographing the gravestones in her hometown of Lakeville, Massachusetts. In 2007, she published Lakeville, Massachusetts Gravestone Inscriptions 1711-2003. In 2008, she released a companion computer DVD, Photographs of Lakeville, Massachusetts Gravestones 1711-2003. She has given several presentations on her work to local groups. Jean Douillette was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was graduated from Xavier University and The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. She served four years as a dentist in the United States Air Force at Luke AFB, AZ. Dr. Douillette is currently employed at Boston Medical Center. In April, 2010 she was elected Cemetery Commissioner for Lakeville, Massachusetts.
